Tasting Notes
벤리네스 산자락의 서늘한 공기와 자가 효모를 고집하는 글렌파클라스는 진한 셰리 풍미로 이름 높다. 25년을 묵힌 골든 25는 깊은 호박빛을 띤다. 향은 말린 과일과 진한 토피, 호두가 풍성하게 피어오르고, 43도의 한 모금엔 건포도와 다크초콜릿, 오렌지 마멀레이드가 둥글게 감긴다. 여운은 셰리의 단맛과 가벼운 가죽향이 부드럽고 길게 이어진다.

air Nose
very expressive, starting on apricot jam and honey, with a very discreet smokiness in the background. Gets then beautifully fudgy and caramelly, with a growing meatiness from the sherry casks – but I wouldn’t say this is ‘very sherried’ as such. Whiffs of hay. Beautiful nose, very aromatic and elegant, that’s got something of Balvenie. Gets even more honeyed after a few minutes
restaurant Palate
indeed, this is very round and creamy, all on honey again, old sweet white wine, sultanas and toffee/nougat. Maybe not extremely complex, so it won’t make it to 90, but bl**dy good for sure. Gets a little salty
timer Finish
very long, on buttered fudge and dark toffee, a little drier now. Hints of strawberry jam in the aftertaste
