Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 오래 숙성된 향이 밀랍 같은 벌집 왁스와 꽃가루, 마른 꽃, 나무 수지로 먼저 두드러진다. 1956년 빈티지 글렌파클라스답게 팰럿에서는 코코넛과 밀랍, 가죽, 마르멜로와 자두주의 단맛이 명확하게 드러나며 따뜻한 후추가 발전한다. 피니시는 길게 여러 허브차와 설탕에 절인 감귤 껍질이 이어진다. 21년을 채운 원숙한 노주로 섬세한 구조감과 깊이가 분명하다.

air Nose
an extremely scented profile where you can tell the cask has started to 'close in'. However, the wood is wonderfully clean so what you get is this familiar mix of beehive waxiness, pollens, toasty wood spices, dried flowers and exotic hardwood resins. Also fruit teas, dried herbs and rosewater. Pretty fragile but there's elegance and beauty still here aplenty
restaurant Palate
it's not as overpowered as you might expect, there's a big hit of sweet coconut along with shoe polish, beeswax, leather, herbal liqueurs, quince and plum wine. The tannins are becoming rather warm and peppery as they nibble around the sides but this is pretty excellent
timer Finish
good length, on many various assorted teas, herbs, soft medicinal touches and crystallised citrus peels
