Tasting Notes
셰리 캐스크에서 15년을 보낸 시간이 글렌파클라스에 잘 익은 캐러멜과 우드의 결을 입힌다. 처음엔 다소 절제된 뜨거운 버터와 카라멜 향이 돌다가 깊이 맡으면 조린 사과와 사이더, 오크가 서서히 드러난다. 46도의 도수는 입안에서 카라멜의 단맛과 옅은 와인, 마른 우드를 힘 있게 풀어놓으며 살짝 건조하게 조인다. 밝은 금빛 뒤로 후추 섞인 여운이 담백하게 이어진다.

quite restrained at first nosing. Hot butter and caramel, not much else, I’m afraid. After deeper nosing some cooked apple, cider and wood do appear, but that’s all. A rather simple nose
restaurant Palate
bold and rather powerful attack, but rather drying. Quite simple and mono-dimensional, on caramel. Hints of wine and wood… Not much else. Long finish because of the rather high alcohol level, just getting a little peppery. Well, not a stunner at all, although it hasn’t got any flaw. A (silver) hipflask malt. 80 points .
