Tasting Notes
잔을 몇 번 흔들고 코를 가져가면 처음엔 향이 다소 얌전하다가 뜨겁게 녹인 버터와 캐러멜이 먼저 열리고 이어 익힌 사과와 사이다 같은 결이 은근히 배어난다. 한 모금 머금으면 글렌파클라스 15년다운 대담하고 힘 있는 첫인상이 혀를 치고 캐러멜 단맛 위로 살짝 마르는 우드와 와인의 뉘앙스가 겹친다. 46도치고 단단한 이 위스키를 삼키면 알코올이 밀어 올린 후추 자극이 목을 타고 길게 내려간다.

quite restrained at first nosing. Hot butter and caramel, not much else, I’m afraid. After deeper nosing some cooked apple, cider and wood do appear, but that’s all. A rather simple nose
restaurant Palate
bold and rather powerful attack, but rather drying. Quite simple and mono-dimensional, on caramel. Hints of wine and wood… Not much else. Long finish because of the rather high alcohol level, just getting a little peppery. Well, not a stunner at all, although it hasn’t got any flaw. A (silver) hipflask malt. 80 points .
