잔을 몇 번 흔들면 셰리가 빚은 초콜릿 케이크와 건포도 향이 진하게 올라오고, 옅은 허브와 이끼 같은 뉘앙스가 그 사이에 스며 복합감을 더한다. 글렌파클라스 15년다운 몰티한 곡물 향이 바탕을 이룬다. 한 모금 머금으면 46도의 균형 잡힌 몸통 위로 건포도와 호두, 산뜻한 스피어민트가 어우러지고 옅은 나무 연기가 뒤를 받친다. 이 스페이사이드 몰트는 삼킨 뒤에도 크리스마스 케이크 같은 단맛이 무겁지 않게 길게 이어진다.

not that different from the 10, just cake-ier, more sherried, and rather more complex, with small herbs, a mossy side, and a large chocolate cake. Touches of yeasty porridge in the background. Fresh pumpernickel bread

really very cake-y, malty, with raisins and some very lovely touches of spearmint. I’m also finding a delicate wood smoke, as well as the usual walnuts when we’re having a sherried malt such as this one. Goody good
