잔에 담긴 빛은 따뜻한 호박빛으로 깊게 감돈다. 글렌파클라스 12년 캐스크 스트렝스는 셰리 숙성의 진중함을 강한 도수에 담아낸다. 향에는 말린 과실과 흑설탕, 구운 견과의 달큰함이 풍성하게 올라오고, 그 아래로 가죽과 오크가 비친다. 입에서는 건포도와 다크 토피, 오렌지 껍질이 진하게 번지며 59.9도의 높은 도수가 단맛을 단단하게 밀어 올린다. 끝맛에는 마른 과실과 오크 스파이스의 여운이 길고 묵직하게 가라앉는다.
