nice malty nose with hints of sherry and touches of shoe polish. Something slightly mineral in the background (wet gravel) as well as a little olive oil, coffee and candle wax. Also hints of rum and candy sugar. Very pleasant nose
restaurant Palate
less complex and probably a little light as far the body is concerned (which is a little surprising) but the overall profile is pleasant, toffeeish and malty. Less sherry, more café latte and dried fruits. Dates and walnuts
timer Finish
medium long, nutty and malty, with a slight bitterness in the aftertaste – maybe caramel?
