벤 린네스 산자락 발린달로흐의 글렌파클라스는 가족이 대를 이어 셰리 캐스크로 위스키를 빚는다. 셰리 시즌드 오크에서 8년을 보낸 이 보틀링은 잔에서 화이트 와인처럼 옅은 빛을 낸다. 다소 뜨겁고 풋풋한 반죽과 효모, 풀과 으깬 아몬드의 향이 마른 결로 피어난다. 40도의 도수로 입안에서는 오렌지와 옅은 건포도가 닿은 뒤 풀향과 비스킷, 마멀레이드로 이어진다. 마무리는 중간 길이로 블랙 민트티의 결이 또렷이 깃든다.

a little rounder, with good oranges and touches of raisins in the arrival, but it tends to become rather too grassy and harsh for me after just three seconds, although it would improve again after, say ten minutes. Biscuits, marmalade, Jaffa cake
