잔을 천천히 돌리면 호박빛이 유리 안쪽에 두꺼운 자국을 남기고 내려앉는다. 향을 맡으면 잘 익은 체리와 토피가 앞서고 그 아래 오래된 가죽 냄새가 깔린다. 코를 조금 더 넣으면 구운 견과가 뒤에서 열린다. 입에 넣고 굴리면 옥수수의 기름진 단맛이 묵직하게 입을 채우며 정향이 뒤를 받친다. 넘긴 뒤에는 보틀드 인 본드 규격다운 단단한 도수감이 가슴께까지 따뜻하게 이어진다.
