짙은 앰버빛이 잔 벽을 타고 느리게 내려앉는다. 코끝에는 잘 익은 옥수수의 단내와 버터스카치가 먼저 닿고 그 아래로 삼나무와 정향이 은은하게 깔린다. 100프루프에 해당하는 50도의 알코올은 입안에서 진한 토피와 흑설탕을 밀어 올리며 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 10년이라는 시간이 다듬어 놓은 오크의 씁쓸함은 마지막에 볶은 아몬드와 후추로 바뀌어 천천히 사그라든다.
