잔을 한 바퀴 저은 다음 코를 낮게 넣으면 볶은 견과와 캐러멜이 먼저 들어온다. 조금 기다리면 마른 체리와 정향이 뒤에서 차례로 올라온다. 한 모금 삼키면 50도의 알코올이 목을 곧게 데우고 구운 옥수수와 계피가 따라 내려간다. 삼킨 뒤에는 오크 타닌이 입안을 조여오다가 은은한 민트로 정리되며 예상보다 훨씬 깔끔하게 끝난다.
