Flavor Profile
Tasting Notes
Colour
amber
air Nose
very nice, it seems that we’re not very far from the officials of similar age. It’s a blend of roasted nuts, honey sauce, brine, parsley, olives, malt, leather and chocolate. All that is moderately aromatic but water should help. With water: doesn’t change much but all that remains pleasant. A few meaty tones flying around (chicken soup, maybe even a little miso while we’re at it)
restaurant Palate
nervous, very fruity, hinting at a finishing. Marmalade and white pepper, grape pips and bags and bags of blackcurrants. Some mint and liquorice lozenges too. Black raisins. With water: the best part if you like grapefruits and gingery oak. Pepper, ginger, cinchona, bitter oranges
timer Finish
medium, on more or less the same notes
