잔을 기울여 향부터 확인하면 구운 참나무와 캐러멜이 나란히 다가온다. 코를 조금 더 오래 두면 가죽과 마른 담뱃잎이 서서히 드러난다. 한 모금 삼키면 곡물의 단맛이 앞서고 계피와 흑후추가 뒤에서 온도를 끌어올린다. 삼킨 뒤에는 마른 오크가 입안을 조여오며 오래 이어지는데 10년 숙성 버번치고는 상당히 단단하고 곧은 마무리다.
