손목을 돌려 잔을 한 바퀴 저은 다음 코를 낮게 넣으면 버터와 메이플이 먼저 밀려온다. 그 위로 마른 오크와 정향이 차곡차곡 얹힌다. 한 모금 머금으면 50도의 도수가 혀 양옆을 자극하고 흑설탕과 구운 사과가 차례로 이어진다. 삼킨 뒤에는 후추와 참나무의 쓴맛이 함께 내려가며 서서히 옅어지는데 그 과정이 매우 곧고 군더더기가 없다.
