노즈에서는 오크니 증류소 하이랜드 파크다운 헤더 꿀과 은은한 피트 연기, 잘 익은 사과 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 팰럿은 51.3도에서 리필 버번 호그스헤드가 준 바닐라와 시트러스, 가벼운 훈연이 차례로 발전한다. 24년의 긴 숙성이 피트를 둥글게 다듬어 균형이 단단하다. 피니시는 헤더와 백후추, 마른 풀이 또렷이 깃들어 길게 이어지는, SMWS다운 정제된 하이랜드 파크다.

another typical ‘naked’ Highland Park, without noticeable wood influence. More on ginger, porridge and mashed potatoes than on fruits and honey, that is. Notes of peat smoke and lavender. Not very sexy I’d say

sweet, almost sugary, close to reduced new make I think. Rubber and ginger tonic, aspirin tablets, apple juice and white pepper (and paper)
