air Nose

starts rather expressively, on white fruits (apples, pears, hints of bananas) and muesli. Also hints of white cherries (I mean, the ones that have a red skin and white flesh.) Good, balanced oakiness in the background. Also mead, light honey, pollen. Gets finally uber-orangey. Freshly squeezed oranges. Very, very nice nose, rather more exuberant than the usual HP’s. No sherry influence

restaurant Palate

sweet and fruity, almost like at first nosing. Same big notes of ripe apples and muesli, oatcakes, bananas flambéed, acacia honey and a little liquorice. A tad less expressive than on the nose but still very good

timer Finish

quite long, globally fruity (fruit salad.)
