Tasting Notes
은은한 금빛이 잔 안에 따스하게 어린다. 오크니 섬의 하이랜드 파크가 버번 호그스헤드에서 33년을 보낸 익셉셔널 캐스크 보틀링이다. 코에는 헤더 꿀과 잘 익은 과일, 옅은 모닥불 연기의 향이 부드럽게 피어오른다. 49.1도의 입질에서는 꿀과 시트러스의 단맛 위로 은근한 훈연과 향신료가 또렷이 살아난다. 섬에서 오래 익은 하이랜드 파크다운 균형이 끝에서 꿀과 옅은 연기로 길게 이어진다.

a little pencil shaving in the arrival, which suggests a newish cask, but other than that, all is fine, with a heavy sweet – but not too sweet – sherry blending well with the firm distillate. Chocolate again, prunes again, cherry liqueur, bitter oranges and, this time, pipe tobacco. It’s technically a sherry monster, but I find it balanced and even kind of fresh, thanks to a little menthol that comes out
