Tasting Notes
잔에 잠긴 짙은 호박빛이 1956년에 증류된 하이랜드 파크 원액이 30년을 견딘 시간을 그대로 드러낸다. 노즈에는 옅은 헤더 피트와 짭조름한 바닷바람, 마른 꿀 향이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 입에서는 진한 토피와 호두, 가벼운 매연이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐르고 55.6도의 알코올이 단단한 골격을 받친다. 오크니 섬 하이랜드 파크 특유의 헤더 향이 마지막 여운까지 깊게 이어진다.

not very different from the 1958 at very first sniffs, but gets then more candied, honeyed (but not immensely so), beautifully fruity (lemons, tangerines) and still very smoky and peaty. Perfect balance. Then fresh almonds, seashells, putty, wet wood and fresh ink (newspaper of the day.) What can I say, it’s just another wonderful old Highland Park, maybe a tad more multidimensional than many others
