Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 하이랜드 파크다운 헤더 꿀과 옅은 피트 연기, 마른 과일이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 높은 도수로 병입된 팰럿은 강건하며 꿀과 보리 단맛 위로 은은한 그을음과 향신료가 또렷이 발전한다. 1990년에 병입된 8년 숙성의 어린 하이랜드 파크답게 패기 있는 질감이 살아 있고, 피니시는 헤더 꿀과 마른 연기가 길게 이어진다. 고든 앤 맥페일이 병입한 이 보틀링은 오크니 몰트의 균형이 핵심이다.

caramel, earth, tobacco, mosses, mushrooms and camphor in perfect synchronisation. All of this murmurs rather gently, yet without being weak or in any way frustrating, at least for now

initially very much a mirror of the nose, then the saline and smoky notes begin to assert themselves, with more richness than expected, although we could hardly call this baby a heavyweight wrestler

long and even more coastal, while damp earth returns to try to sign off the whole, but a touch of caramel and powdered coffee remains in the aftertaste
