Tasting Notes
리필 버번 호그스헤드에서 24년을 보낸 숙성이 오크니 섬 하이랜드 파크의 1982년 빈티지를 우아하게 다듬었다. 향은 헤더 꿀과 옅은 훈연, 마른 오렌지 껍질이 겹겹이 올라오고, 입에서는 56.8도가 꿀과 가벼운 피트, 향신료로 매끄럽게 흐른다. 섬 특유의 은은한 헤더 피트가 오랜 숙성으로 섬세해졌다. 짙은 금빛 잔 속에서 꿀과 연기의 여운이 길게 이어진다.

rather similar but a tad calmer despite the higher ABV. Just as grassy and oaky, that is. Hints of cooked asparagus and artichoke. With water: a similar development when compared with the SMWS but a tad less complex. More liquorice and fresh herbs (chives) but less notes of ‘a walk through the trees under the rain.’ Well
restaurant Palate
quite close to the SMWS. Fruit spirit, oranges and plain oak. More straightforward than that does not exist. With water: same, very straightforward. Quite some mint this time again, plus vanilla and liquorice on top of the orangey notes. Good

medium long this time but very liquoricy and fruity
