잔을 가까이 하면 버터스카치와 볶은 아몬드가 명확하게 드러난다. 뉴 채러드 오크에서 온 단 나무 향이 그 사이를 채우고, 알코올은 향 단계에서 거의 드러나지 않는다. 입에서는 흑설탕과 오크 스파이스가 묵직하게 입을 채우고 곧 후추의 매운 기운이 따라붙는다. 10년의 숙성은 탄닌을 다듬을 만큼 충분했다. 피니시는 마른 오크와 옅은 민트가 함께 정리된다.
