밝은 앰버빛이 잔 안에서 은은하게 빛나는 하이랜드 파크 2002이다. 리필 호그스헤드에서 15년을 보낸 이 오크니 몰트는 코에 아메리칸 오크의 달큰함과 코코넛, 황금빛 건포도, 옅은 헤더 피트가 겹쳐 오른다. 57.8도의 한 모금은 따뜻한 향신료와 체리 리큐어, 딸기잼에 훈연한 육포의 짭짤함이 더해져 복합적으로 번진다. 오크니의 은은한 피트가 전체를 관통하고, 여운은 허브와 멘톨, 수지의 결로 길게 이어진다.

air Nose
a kind of glowing sweetness from the American oak, but it sits very well alongside darker fruits, coconut oil, golden sultanas, black Chinese tea, banana bread with chocolate, miso, camphor and a very light and fragrant heathery peat. Lots going on and quite excellent at first. With water: slightly direr and more playful with bread notes, pastries and some fruit jellies
restaurant Palate
again the wood is assertive but just about kept in check by other forces. Lots of warm spices, cherry liqueur, strawberry jam, charcoal, black pepper and cured meats. Paprika, lime cordial and liquorice. With water: a little more natural, more leather, camphor, oily rag, dry roast peanuts and putty. Some pine resin and cloves too

long, herbal, getting rather mentholated and with a fair bit of hardwood resin, natural tar and various fruit liqueurs
