Tasting Notes
맑은 황금빛이 잔 속에서 부드럽게 빛난다. 오크니 섬의 하이랜드파크 1998은 크리미한 바닐라와 꿀, 신선한 오렌지주스에 상쾌한 민트가 얹히며 놀라운 균형을 이룬다. 아메리칸 오크 벗에서 18년을 보낸 이 몰트는 56.4도의 입안에서 같은 네 가지 축에 계피와 정향, 팔각의 향신료가 더해지며 또렷하게 발전한다. 여운은 한층 풀내를 띠며 바닐라와 꿀, 오렌지와 민트를 길게 이어가고 끝에 옅은 나무 연기를 남긴다.

perfect creamy vanilla and honey, with some fresh orange juice on top of that and a few bits of fresh mint. That’s a perfect combination, not utterly complex, but the balance is flabbergasting. Indeed, vanilla, honey, oranges, mint. I repeat… With water: rather things from a forest, moss, fern, pine needles, humus, mushrooms… All that complements vanilla, honey, oranges and mint to perfection
restaurant Palate
indeed, this is perfect, although it would just be a combination of four elements, namely vanilla, honey, oranges, mint. Exactly the same as on the nose when neat, plus a few oak spices, cinnamon, cloves, star anise… With water: same with just touches of green oak, which translates into green tea. So, green tannins
timer Finish
rather long and grassier, although the three musketeers are still kicking around. Those would be vanilla, honey, oranges and mint. A touch of wood smoke in the aftertaste
