진한 호박빛이 잔 속에 또렷이 비친다. 하이랜드 파크가 1976년에 증류되어 1st 필 아메리칸 오크 호그스헤드에서 27년을 머문 시간은 오크니 섬의 청량한 공기 속에서 새 오크의 단맛을 단단히 응결시킨다. 향에서는 옅은 훈연과 잘 익은 노란 과일, 짙은 꿀이 차례로 풀려나고 입에서는 52.7도의 알코올이 진한 단맛과 헤더 꿀로 흐른다. 여운에는 오크니 섬 특유의 짠 미네랄이 길게 머문다.
