Tasting Notes
마른 볏짚색이 잔 안에서 담백하게 빛난다. 오크니 섬에서 나고 자란 하이랜드 파크 1973은 과일보다 풀 내음이 앞서, 우유 같은 부드러움과 갓 켠 참나무의 향이 자연스럽게 어우러진다. 1973년 증류되어 36년을 보낸 이 몰트는 꾸밈없는 담백함이 매력이다. 45.9도에서 입안은 바닐라 퍼지와 사과 껍질, 옅은 커피의 쌉쌀함으로 다가온다. 마른 오크가 여운을 서서히 조여오며 담담하게 가라앉는다.

less fruity than the 1991, grassier, with also more milky tones and whiffs of freshly sawn oak but little vanilla. Very ‘natural’ malt whisky, maybe also a bit ‘neutral’. Hints of ginger tonic, green tannins, faint sourness
restaurant Palate
punchy, good attack, fruitier now, also a little caramelised. Vanilla fudge, apple peeling, malt, a little coffee and just wee hints of strawberry sweets
timer Finish
just like the 1991, it becomes drier and more marked by the oak
