Tasting Notes
맑은 황금빛이 잔 안에서 은은하게 빛난다. 오크니 섬의 하이랜드 파크가 18년을 보낸 오카디안 파이어는 코끝에서 마른 잎사귀와 송진, 허브차 같은 향을 건조하게 풀어놓는다. 잔을 오래 두면 옅은 히스 연기와 풀 향이 그 사이로 스민다. 다시 향을 맡으면 마른 나무와 옅은 자두 내음이 또렷해진다. 43도의 도수로 입안에서는 은근한 훈연 위로 초록빛 향신료와 갓 켠 나무의 기운이 번진다. 한 모금을 더 삼키면 옅은 소금기와 후추가 뒤따른다. 여운은 마른 잎과 옅은 소금기가 어우러져 중간 길이로 곧게 남는다.

I find it dry and very leafy, perhaps a little thin on the nose, but I’m rather fond of these resinous, sappy, pine-y aromas. Leaves, herbal teas… Well it is a little timid. Slivovitz

the smoke is up; the body is down a wee bit. Didn’t the 18 become a real peater over the years? Earlier batches were already displaying more peat and more roughness, but it seems that they went one step further in that respect. On the other hand, the oiliness is almost gone and the honeyed notes have been replaced with green spices and fresh wood. While fresh wood kills and has always killed

medium, dry and leafy/grassy. Not too nice in my humble opinion. Saltier aftertaste
