Tasting Notes
잔을 여러 번 돌린 뒤 코끝으로 가져가면 케이크 같은 달큰함 위로 벌꿀 술과 딸기잼, 옅은 민트가 겹쳐 부드럽게 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 46.5도의 질감을 따라 붉은 와인의 과실과 은은한 약재, 백묵 같은 미네랄이 하이랜드 파크 특유의 옅은 히스 훈연과 얽혀 고르게 번진다. 오크니 섬에서 16년을 익힌 이 스왈로스 리턴은 잔 속에서 시간을 두고 천천히 피어난다. 삼키면 시트러스의 상큼한 산뜻함이 마지막을 정리하며 혀끝에 오래 감돈다.

light gold, not pink at all!
air Nose
rather cake-y, with some mead and, indeed, some strawberry jam or compote, as well as a little mint. But the treatment remained pretty moderate, we’re far from a Kardashian whisky. Phew!
restaurant Palate
red wine and spirit do clash a wee bit – they always do unless the spirit’s virtually empty, which is certainly not the case with HP – but this is acceptable. Some medicinal and chalky notes manage to swim to the surface too, which is nice. Keeps improving in your glass over (quite some) minutes
timer Finish
medium, perhaps a tad jumbled, but the citric side of HP is having the upper hand in the aftertaste
