Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 약품 같은 피트와 요오드, 레몬의 향이 강하게 두드러진다. 라프로익을 호그스헤드에서 15년 숙성한 빅 피시는 이 증류소 특유의 소독약 같은 피트가 또렷하다. 53.8도의 입안에서는 훈제 소금과 타르, 마른 시트러스가 단단한 구조감으로 번진다. 피니시는 길고 강렬하며 이탄의 그을음이 깊게 머문다. 아일라 남부의 거친 개성이 균형 있게 드러난다.

restaurant Palate
totally odd but, quite bizarrely, not integrally dissonant. Rubber, maraschino, tar, Szechuan pepper… It's just that this is something else. Where am I? Who am I? Existentialist whisky… Does the whisky world have any meaning at all anyway? And the whole world? With water: the distillate having the upper hand (hurray) but the peppers got even more extreme as well
