아일라 남부의 짭조름한 바닷바람이 라프로익 원액을 담은 이 위스키의 강렬한 피트를 관통한다. 잔에는 옅은 밀짚빛이 맑게 어린다. 배럴에서 11년을 보낸 향은 소독약 같은 페놀과 훈제, 바다 소금이 함께 인다. 입에서는 54도의 힘이 숯불 같은 피트와 보리 단맛을 거칠게 밀어 올린다. 여운은 재와 후추, 짠 미네랄이 길고 강하게 이어진다.
