아일라 남부 라프로익 해안의 매서운 바닷바람과 두꺼운 토탄층이 1995 빈티지 25년 숙성에 약품 같은 결을 새겼다. 잔에는 옅은 황금빛이 잠겨 있고 노즈에는 2차 충전 버번 배럴이 풀어놓은 매운 토탄, 요오드, 짠 미네랄의 향이 또렷이 깃든다. 입에 들어오면 57.4도의 알코올과 함께 짭짤한 캐러멜, 약품, 그을린 보리의 풍미가 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 여운은 라프로익 특유의 약품과 짠 토탄으로 길게 이어진다.
