잔을 눈높이로 들어 기울이면 붉은 기가 섞인 호박빛이 천천히 미끄러져 내린다. 코를 가져가면 팝콘과 캐러멜이 먼저 다가오고 그 뒤로 체리 조림 같은 단내가 비친다. 한 모금 머금으면 50도의 알코올이 혀 양옆을 데우면서 바닐라 크림으로 풀어진다. 삼키면 볶은 커피와 마른 나무가 목 안쪽에 길게 남는다. 배럴 하나에서만 병입된 술다운 개별적인 성격이 잘 살아 있다.
