잔을 코끝에서 살짝 흔들면 헨리 맥케나 10년의 익숙한 단내가 곧장 퍼진다. 캐러멜과 바닐라 뒤로 담뱃잎과 마른 가죽이 겹친다. 잔을 흔들어 다시 맡으면 볶은 견과와 마른 오크가 뒤에서 받친다. 한 모금 삼키면 50도의 알코올이 목을 지나며 계피와 구운 설탕을 함께 데려온다. 마지막에는 배럴에서 온 탄 나무 향이 입안에 얇게 남아 천천히 식는다.
