노즈에서는 라프로익 특유의 약품 같은 요오드 향과 짙은 피트 연기가 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 아일라 남부 증류소답게 16년 리필 호그스헤드 숙성에도 소독약과 그을린 해초의 캐릭터가 또렷하게 살아 있다. 입에서는 재와 후추, 짭짤한 미네랄 위로 옅은 바닐라의 단맛이 52.2도의 도수와 균형을 잡는다. 짠 미네랄과 약내가 입안 가득 퍼지며 강한 인상을 남긴다. 피니시는 매캐한 연기와 소금기, 약내가 길게 이어지며, 라프로익다운 강렬하고 단단한 구조감이 끝까지 유지되는 한 잔이다.

perfect. It's even narrower than on the nose but on the other hand, this feeling of a sharp blade is perfect. A Pouilly-Fumé by Didier Daguenau and family. Lemon and flint
