아일라 남쪽 해안 라프로익 만의 끈적한 토탄 늪지와 짠 바닷바람이 1969 빈티지 15년 숙성을 처음부터 끝까지 관통한다. 잔에는 옅은 황금빛이 비친다. 향에는 약품 같은 페놀과 굴 껍데기 광물성, 매캐한 토탄 연기가 명확하게 드러나고 입에서는 55.3도의 도수가 요오드와 후추, 짠 바닷내를 두꺼운 질감으로 흘려보낸다. 여운에는 짠 매연이 길게 이어진다.
