옅은 밀짚빛이 잔 안에서 맑게 일렁인다. 라프로익 특유의 요오드와 바닷내음, 마른 풀을 태운 듯한 피트 연기가 코를 곧장 사로잡는다. 한 모금은 짭조름한 훈연과 레몬, 약품 같은 매캐함이 입안을 강하게 휘감으며 거칠게 번진다. 18년의 숙성과 52도의 도수가 아일라 남부의 사나운 캐릭터를 또렷하게 다듬어 준다. 여운은 재와 소금기, 마른 훈연으로 길게 남으며 라프로익다운 묵직한 잔향을 끌고 간다.
