Tasting Notes
짙은 호박빛이 잔 속에 깊게 잠겨 있다. 1970년에 증류된 아일라의 라프로익은 반세기 전 증류소의 향을 그대로 간직한다. 강렬한 피트 연기와 함께 요오드, 바다 소금기, 옅은 약재 향이 코를 두드린다. 46도의 도수는 입안에서 그을린 보리와 짭조름한 연기, 옅은 단맛을 둥글게 채운다. 올드 보틀 특유의 묵직한 연기가 중심을 잡는다. 긴 여운은 재와 소금기, 약내음을 천천히 남기며 식는다.

yesssss! Perfect combination of smoky/medicinal stuff with tropical, err, fruits. Much similar to the old official tens, with a peat that transmuted into myriads of exotic fruits, first passion fruits, then guavas, then mangos and then grapefruits. Utterly amazing, enough said

stunning. Doesn’t taste like 46%, tastes like more. Say around 80% vol. A masterful combination of tropical fruits, all things salty and all things medicinal. Add to that three olives and a greasiness (maybe that’s smoked sesame oil) and it’s, you know, just perfect

long and with more tar and heavy liquorice. What a beast!
