Tasting Notes
아일라 남부의 짭조름한 바닷바람과 짙은 피트가 라프로익의 약품 같은 강렬한 개성을 처음부터 끝까지 관통한다. 잔에는 옅은 황금빛이 맑게 돈다. 오크 캐스크에서 12년을 보낸 향은 바닷가 모닥불 연기와 요오드, 약재와 젖은 가죽 내음이 강하게 올라온다. 57.4도의 높은 도수로 입에서는 훈연과 바다 소금, 타르와 검은 후추의 풍미가 묵직하게 밀려든다. 여운은 그을린 피트와 바다 내음, 옅은 단맛이 거칠고 길게 남는다.

a rather fruitier version (when compared with the Whisky Fair), with notes of cherries and apples and rather less kippery notes. Still, it's very briny and smoky. With water: more soot and ashes and brine and smoke but the cherry-like fruitiness never really goes away
