잔을 가까이 하면 라프로익 특유의 강렬한 약품 같은 피트 연기와 바다 소금, 레몬 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 버번 배럴에서 31년을 보낸 이 1993 빈티지는 52.4도의 도수 위로 바닐라와 마른 풀, 옅은 그을음이 또렷하게 발전한다. 오랜 숙성이 거친 훈연을 다듬어 단맛과 연기의 균형이 단단하다. 어비스가 시너지 컬렉션으로 병입한 이 위스키의 피니시는 짭조름한 연기와 마른 오크가 길게 이어지며 깊은 구조감을 남긴다.
