잔을 흔들어 향을 끌어올리면 옅은 금빛 아래로 짙은 피트 연기가 강하게 피어오른다. 코끝으로 가져가면 라프로익 특유의 짭짤한 바닷내음 위로 잘 익은 열대 과일과 핑크 자몽, 왁스가 놀랍도록 선명하게 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 60.1도의 힘이 피트와 소금기, 크리스탈처럼 또렷한 과일을 혀 위로 거세게 펼친다. 삼킨 뒤에도 아일라 10년 캐스크 스트렝스다운 훈제와 신선한 과일이 오래 이어진다.
