Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들어 향을 깨우면 갓 태운 오크가 남긴 옅은 금빛이 잔 벽을 타고 미끄러진다. 코를 가까이 하면 라프로익 특유의 나무 연기와 짠기, 소독약 같은 요오드에 타르 향이 강하게 밀려온다. 한 모금을 머금으면 56.3도의 술이 혀를 뜨겁게 밀며 솔잎과 절인 레몬, 커지는 훈연이 번진다. 물을 몇 방울 더하면 엔진 그리스와 젖은 밧줄 같은 개성이 진하게 피어난다. 10년을 채운 캐스크 스트렝스 배치 007답게 사나운 피트가 곧게 뻗는다. 삼키고 나면 타르 같은 연기가 목을 타고 길게 이어지며 입안을 오래 달군다.

perhaps a little too much wood smoke at first, too many wood spices too, but the rest seems to be rather perfect, salty, medicinal, in short Laphroaig. With water: paint! good, powerful, piney and salty arrival, with crystallised lemons in the back and a growing smokiness. With water: straightforward, peaty, once again a tad too much on oak spices for me (hell, let's just forget about those stunning tropical fruit in the early versions!) but it still has it, largely
timer Finish
long, rather tarry, simply much more on straight smoke than older young Laphroaigs
