Tasting Notes
맑은 황금빛이 잔에 진하게 감돈다. 라프로익 캐스크 스트렝스는 바나나 껍질과 레몬 위로 소독약 같은 약품 향과 짙은 피트 연기를 강렬하게 뿜어낸다. 58.6도의 스피릿은 입안에서 풀 냄새 나는 피트와 소금, 자몽, 후추, 타르 같은 재를 힘차게 밀어붙인다. 아일라 남단다운 거침없는 훈연이 혀를 압도하고, 여운은 길고 재를 머금은 듯 짭조름하며 뒤늦게 옅은 망고 한 자락을 남긴다.

no tropical fruits that I can detect, only banana skins. But the lemons and the peat in the bottom start rising and bring litres of antiseptic with them. Tell me about a medicinal whisky! With water: some oils (sunflower) and some malted barley, with those huge ashes coming out again

well, this is excellent. No subtleties but that's not why we came here. Big grassier peat, salt, grapefruits, mouthwash, pepper, and of course tarry ashes. I'm starting to believe they have a kiln not for malting barley, but for producing ashes! With water: ashes up up up, plus a little brine. We've lost the fruits
