Tasting Notes
노즈에서는 라프로익 특유의 잎사귀 같은 훈연과 파이프 담배 마른 허브가 가장 먼저 두드러지고 요오드와 흰 후추 시트러스 껍질이 발전한다. 입에서는 48.6도의 힘을 바탕으로 절인 레몬과 요오드 소금 뿌린 견과가 또렷이 드러나며 허브 향 훈연이 감싼다. 세컨드필 올로로소를 거친 25년 라프로익 캐스크 스트렝스로 원숙한 피트의 구조가 명확하다. 여운은 짭짤한 재와 흰 후추 레몬이 중간 길이로 남는다.

softer, gentler, a leafy smokiness that nods to pipe tobacco, dried herbs, various medicines, white pepper, mustard powder and wee hints of citrus pith. There’s also salted almonds, some dried lavender, iodine and some grilling shellfish
restaurant Palate
again it’s a more suave and gentle Laphroaig. Notes of preserved lemon, aspirin, iodine, tiger balm, salted trail mix, bread and olive oil. Herb-flecked smoke, lemony brine, cough medicine and a slightly kippery note. Very nice but again perhaps it’s a little too simple?
