Tasting Notes
옅은 금빛이 잔 속에 맑게 담겨 있다. 아일라 라프로익 25년 캐스크 스트렝스는 세컨필 올로로소와 아메리칸 오크에서 익어 평소보다 한결 부드러운 훈연을 두른다. 파이프 담배와 마른 허브, 약재와 요오드 위로 소금 뿌린 아몬드가 스친다. 48.9도의 도수 위로 입안에는 절인 레몬과 요오드, 짭짤한 견과와 허브 향 연기가 우아하게 감돈다. 여운은 짭짤하고 재 같은 기운과 하얀 후추가 은은하게 이어진다.

softer, gentler, a leafy smokiness that nods to pipe tobacco, dried herbs, various medicines, white pepper, mustard powder and wee hints of citrus pith. There’s also salted almonds, some dried lavender, iodine and some grilling shellfish
restaurant Palate
again it’s a more suave and gentle Laphroaig. Notes of preserved lemon, aspirin, iodine, tiger balm, salted trail mix, bread and olive oil. Herb-flecked smoke, lemony brine, cough medicine and a slightly kippery note. Very nice but again perhaps it’s a little too simple?
