Tasting Notes
잔을 흔들면 오래 숙성된 라프로익답게 옅은 황금빛이 잔 벽을 타고 흐른다. 코끝에 가져가면 부드러워진 잎사귀 같은 훈연 위로 파이프 담배와 마른 허브, 흰 후추, 감귤 껍질 향이 층층이 올라온다. 48.6도의 원액을 한 모금 머금으면 절인 레몬과 요오드, 소금에 절인 견과가 혀 위에서 넓게 번진다. 삼키면 재와 흰 후추, 레몬즙이 뒤따르며 버번과 올로로소가 다듬은 25년의 원숙한 결이 오래 이어진다.

softer, gentler, a leafy smokiness that nods to pipe tobacco, dried herbs, various medicines, white pepper, mustard powder and wee hints of citrus pith. There’s also salted almonds, some dried lavender, iodine and some grilling shellfish
restaurant Palate
again it’s a more suave and gentle Laphroaig. Notes of preserved lemon, aspirin, iodine, tiger balm, salted trail mix, bread and olive oil. Herb-flecked smoke, lemony brine, cough medicine and a slightly kippery note. Very nice but again perhaps it’s a little too simple?
