올로로소 셰리와 쿼터 캐스크, 버번을 아우른 숙성이 이 라프로익 핸드필드에 복합적인 피트를 심었다. 향은 잿내 가득한 이탄과 타르, 검은 후추와 짭짤한 감초가 거칠게 솟구친다. 입에서는 59.8도의 도수를 타고 시럽 같은 훈연 단맛과 요오드, 훈제 후추가 강렬하게 번진다. 아일라 라프로익다운 의약품 같은 개성이 금빛과 함께 타르와 소금기의 긴 여운으로 오래 남는다.

rather grizzly, boisterously ashy and a bit uncouth with some up front wood spiciness aside tarry peat, black pepper, BBQ embers and brisket. There's also something a tad minty about it, menthol tobacco perhaps? Add to that some very salty Dutch liquorice and some seawater. much better arrival I think, sweet but full of syrupy peat flavours, smoked black pepper, bandages, tar extracts, iodine and various medical 'things'. Big and nicely 'Laphroaigy'. With water: works well now! More precise and focused on peat smoke, medicine, TCP and smoked pepper. That sweetness from the wood feels more integrated
