Tasting Notes
커피처럼 짙고 어두운 빛이 잔 속에 무겁게 어린 이 라프로익은 16년을 보낸 강렬한 원액이다. 54.8도의 도수 아래 가죽 광택제와 타르, 고무, 건포도 같은 어둡고 진한 향이 아일라의 피트와 얽혀 피어오른다. 입에서는 훈제한 랍상소우총 차와 그을린 체리를 닮은 무거운 스모크가 진하게 흐르며 검은 과일의 단맛이 뒤를 받친다. 오래도록 이어지는 훈연의 여운은 어둡고 강렬하게 잦아든다.

Exhaust fumes, leather polish, new sneakers, Linzertorte, Mon-Chéri, regular milk chocolate (I won’t mention chocolate with palm oil inside, out of charity), a little geraniol (geranium), rubber and tar, used matches, raisins… It’s not totally dissonant, I have to say.
