Tasting Notes
옅은 밀짚빛이 잔에 맑게 비친다. 라프로익이 1999년 원액을 12년 담아 46도로 병입한 하이그로브 보틀링이다. 향에서는 핑크 자몽과 패션프루트의 산뜻함에 옅은 연기와 캄포, 갓 볶은 아몬드, 조개 같은 해산물의 짭조름한 기운이 섬세하게 어우러진다. 입에서는 훈연과 소금기, 레몬의 산뜻함, 요오드의 약재 같은 풍미가 완벽한 균형을 이룬다. 아일라다운 짭짤한 성격이 또렷하며, 여운은 길고 짭조름하게 바닷물을 마신 듯 이어진다.

it’s not old but there are already some touches of pink grapefruits and passion fruits, like in the old Laphroaigs (old tens, Bonfanti and such). This is actually beautiful and much more delicate than expected. Light smoke, moderate camphor, lovely almonds and other fresh nuts (or is this sesame?), clams, whelks (hey!), other seafood… A perfect nose! To think that we were thinking this would be all ears (S., this is becoming ridiculous – Camilla.)
