Tasting Notes
오래된 아일레이의 옅은 황금빛이 잔 안에 또렷이 빛난다. 1987년 빈티지 라프로익이 Feis Ile 2004 보틀링으로 17년의 시간을 거쳐 55.2도의 단단한 도수에 담겼다. 향에서는 짙은 피트 연기와 옅은 바다 내음, 마른 가죽이 코를 사로잡는다. 입에서는 짭조름한 캐러멜과 옅은 요오드의 풍미가 묵직하게 입을 채우고 잘 익은 자두의 단맛이 균형을 단단히 잡는다. 색은 옅은 황금빛이며 여운은 오래된 피트의 잔향으로 길게 따라간다. 캐스크의 깊이가 자연스럽게 흐르는 절제된 매력이 묻어 있다.

very powerful, pungent and a little sour. Blast of peat and alcohol, getting a little bitter. Not that enjoyable, in fact. Long, but burning finish. Well, this one’s more a curiosity than anything else! 70 points (Davin 74, Ho-cheng 91, Olivier 75) .
