잔을 흔들어 향을 열면 라프로익 11년의 옅은 훈연이 랍상소총 차처럼 부드럽게 코끝에 닿는다. 가까이 가져가면 오크 향신료 위로 파인애플과 코코넛의 의외의 단내가 살짝 드러난다. 한 모금 머금으면 40도의 가벼운 질감에 마른 재와 은은한 피트, 옅은 시트러스가 번진다. 삼키고 나면 짧지만 깔끔한 재와 훈연의 뒷맛이 아일라 입문자에게 순하게 남는다.

The fact is that I really enjoy good lapsang souchong (which makes my tea loving friends cringe, them who claim that there cannot be any good lapsang souchong – is that true?)
