노즈에서는 라프로익 특유의 요오드 같은 소독약 뉘앙스와 훈연차, 바닷가의 미네랄 소금기가 가장 먼저 명확하게 드러난다. 40도의 낮은 도수에서도 아일라 피트의 개성이 또렷하다. 팰럿은 피트와 옅은 열대 과일이 균형을 이루며, 시트러스 쪽으로 살짝 기울며 발전한다. 스모크가 과하지 않고 과일과 나란히 서서 짜임새가 단단하다. 피니시는 길게 이어지며 레몬과 훈연차, 바닷물과 자몽이 남는 클래식 10년이다.

still shines very brightly at this slightly measly bottling strength. Perhaps a slightly more even balance between peat and fruit here, plus a little more lean towards citrus on the latter
